Yes, Every Child
Yes, Every Child is an initiative to provide access to educational programming for underserved children and families through targeted community outreach and reduced museum admission. As a partners of Museums for All and the Institute of Museum and Library Services, EdVenture follows their access program guidelines for our own Yes, Every Child assistance program.
For those receiving income-based food assistance benefits of SNAP, TANF, or WIC, admission will be reduced to $5 per visitor. In order to receive this reduced admission cost, recipients MUST show proof of benefits and ID. (Up to 6 people who live in the benefit recipient’s household.)
Yes, Every Family
Yes, Every Family offers discounted $49 EdVenture memberships to underserved families when available through community funding. Yes, Every Family Members receive unlimited entry to both locations plus all benefits of membership. Click here to learn more about what memberships include!
Yes, Every Student
EdVenture expanded access due to need, but also because of the amount of research showing the pandemic’s impact on children’s learning. According to UNICEF, the amount of time children missed in the classroom due to the COVID-19 Pandemic is insurmountable. Returning to school is not enough. Children need additional exposure outside the classroom where learning can take place. EdVenture is doing its part to help lessen the gap for students by offering standards-based programs and hands-on learning.
Discounts for Title One Schools:
- For in-museum field trips, each school or group pays for its own transportation and provides lunch for students. The Yes, Every Student field trip discount is $5 off per student. Teachers are free along with one free chaperone per 7 students; additional chaperones pay regular chaperone rates.
- Ed-to-Go discount offers 50% off program cost ($125 each), applying to multiple programs on a given date at the school. The discount does not apply to consumable fees or cost of transportation.
- Public Title One schools in the Midlands and Horry County are eligible for Yes, Every Student discounts on request when funding is available thanks to our generous partners.
