COOKING LAB
Grab your aprons and meet us in the Cooking Lab! Here, we explore foods, their makeup, and how they nourish our bodies to help us grow. Not only will you fill your brains with knowledge, you’ll also fill your bellies with a homemade treat, created right here in the EdVenture Cooking Lab!
May Cooking Lab – Atomic Snack
What do people, stars, plants, rocks, and gases have in common? They’re made of atoms! Explore the particles that everything is made from with a tasty tiny treat based on the work of particle physicist Chien-Shiung Wu.
BIO LAB
Got curiosity? Then the Bio Lab is just for you. Pull up a stool and open your mind as we make our way through the scientific method. We’ll make observations, hypothesize, and experiment to get to the bottom of questions that many of us have about the world around us.
May Bio Lab – Habitat Sweet Habitat
Where does your favorite animal live? Explore what it takes to make a habitat a home for different animals as we explore the work of ethnobiologist Jane Mogina.
TODDLER TIME
The perfect place for baby! This special program for children 3 and under allows caregivers to engage in special bonding time with their babies as we read, sing, craft, and explore the environments around us.
May Toddler Time – Rhyming Words
Little learners can build early literacy skills by matching bees to their rhyming flowers! Children will pick a flower and identify which bee has a word that rhymes, encouraging sound recognition and playful learning.
ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
Join us as we explore how to take better care of our planet . Through hands-on activities and interactive fun, kids will learn simple ways to protect the environment and become everyday changemakers.
HOME SAFE HOME
This 4D theater experience teaches families about fire safety in a fun and interactive way.
TESLA THEATER
Ready to spark your curiosity? Join us for the immersive Musical Tesla Coil experience on the 3rd floor! This mesmerizing performance of manufactured lightning will fascinate children and adults alike. The Tesla experience also dives into the history of Nikola Tesla, the father of electricity, and his incredible invention of Alternating Current (AC). Click here to learn more!
