SMS Terms & Conditions
1- SMS Consent Communication:
Mobile Opt in, SMS Consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS communication purposes will not be shared with any third party and affiliates for marketing purposes. Consumer information is collected in a secure database and used by EdVenture to promote events, communicate with job applicants or current employees, communicate with customers on bookings or answer questions.
2- Types of SMS Communications:
If you have consented to receive text messages from EdVenture, you may receive messages related to the following :
- Information regarding museum events
- Information regarding your booking
- Answers to previously asked questions
- Important operational updates
- Information regarding your application
- If employed, important operations information
Example: “Hello, this is a reminder that you have a birthday party booked with us Saturday, July 5th at 10AM. You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging from EdVenture at any time.”
Example: Hi John Doe! Thank you for applying at EdVenture. We are interested in scheduling an interview with our Museum Manager. What is your availability? You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging from EdVenture at any time.
Example: Thank you for reaching out to EdVenture! Admission is $13 per person age 2 and older and we are open from 9AM-5PM today. For more information, visit our website at www.edventure.org You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging from EdVenture at any time.
Example: Good Morning EdVenture Team. We will be opening at noon today due to inclement weather. You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging from EdVenture at any time.
3- Message Frequency:
Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication.
Example: You may receive up to 2 SMS messages per week regarding your birthday or rental date and time.
4- Potential Fees for SMS Messaging:
Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.
5- Opt-In Method:
You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from EdVenture in the following ways
- Verbally, during a conversation a member of our staff may ask if they can text you regarding your event, etc.
- You may text us first by obtaining an EdVenture employee company number from a business card or email signature
6- Opt-Out Method:
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.
7- Help:
If you are experiencing any issues, you can reply with the keyword HELP. Or, you can get help directly from us at edventure.org
