BeABoss Youth Summit ~ April 14

At the BeABoss Youth Summit, 6th-10th graders will become empowered by learning about and discussing the following topics: How to Develop Leadership Skills, How to Increase Self-Confidence, Maintaining a Healthy Self Image, Vision and Goal Setting and more! Students will attend this one-day event for free and receive resources to help support their continued development.


What to expect at the 2018 Be A Boss Youth Summit:
  • Breakout sessions on topics such as self-identity and bullying, and engaging in your community’s political process
  • Lunch with Columbia and the Midlands’ most influential leaders in a diversity of professions, from members of congress to sports figures and healthcare leaders
  • Visits with college admissions representatives, corporate recruiters and volunteer organizations
  • Pep rally with bands and mascots! Step team performances, music, STEM Challenges and giveaways! 
Space is limited to 200 students in grades 6-10. Lunch and snacks are provided. Parental consent is required. Caregivers can drop off students between 8am and 8:30am, and pick up their student at 4:30pm at EdVenture Children's Museum.
