Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts
Scouts can choose to come to EdVenture with their troop or their family. Leaders should call our marketing department at 803-400-1151 to inquire about weekend badge workshops.
EdVenture Overnights
Be there when the lights go out! Spend the night at the home of EDDIE®, the world’s largest child. You’ll get the chance to tour EDDIE® and all the other interactive exhibits at EdVenture. The evening programming includes all the steps needed to complete a badge. An evening snack is provided as well as breakfast in the morning. EdCetera®, the EdVenture store, will be open for shopping, so bring your wallet and buy a special GLOW IN THE DARK overnight t-shirt! Saturday admission is included in the overnight package for those who wish to stay longer and explore on their own.
Details:
- Check-in is at 7:00 p.m. on Friday night (NO EARLIER) and check out is at 8:30 a.m.
- Minimum of 50 people, maximum of 150
- Cost = $35 per child, 1 free chaperone admitted per 7 girls ($15 per adult thereafter)

Cub Scout Overnight Themes:
Bobcat Badge:
An overnight for all boys that are new to Cub Scouts. A great overnight for boys that are just starting Cub Scouts to get their Bobcat Badge and to meet other boys just starting out in Cub Scouts! This can be booked for dens or individuals.
Tiger Cub Achievement Opportunity:
Keeping Myself Healthy and Safe; Let's Go Outdoors; How I Tell It.
Wolf Cub Achievement Opportunity:
Feats of Skill; Your Flag; Tools for Building.
Reservations required. Call 803-400-1151. A non-refundable $150 deposit for overnights is required two weeks after making a reservation.
Badge Workshops
EdVenture offers 2-hour workshops for Brownies, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. Workshops are held Saturdays from 10am-noon. Reservations required. Call 803-400-1151. Groups of 12 or more may enjoy one of EdVenture’s programs designed just for their age level. Each scout receives an EdVenture badge upon completion of badge requirements.
Details:
- Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Minimum of 12 (kids + adults), maximum of 25
- Cost is $11.50 per scout, 1 free chaperone admitted for each 7 scouts ($6.50 per adult thereafter)
