Museum Apprenticeship Program

Young men and women in 6th through 12th grade can apply to join EdVenture's Museum Apprentice Program. Youth volunteers not only develop 21st century skills, but communication, public speaking, collaboration, and life skills while working in a professional environment. MAPs participate in structured leadership development training and are paired with museum staff throughout the year to work in exhibit interpretation, facilitate public programs and events, help with museum administrative activities, and more. With completion of volunteer hours, youth can gain access to different opportunities and programs. EdVenture's signature youth development program teaches valuable work and life skills through volunteer service.

The 2017-2018 Museum Apprentice Program application cycle has begun (beginning Fall 2017).

Please return completed applications by email (fdavis@edventure.org) or to the museum by mail or the front desk during museum hours (9am-5pm).
