Lunch and a snack are included. Caregiver must provide one snack.

Ages 4-5

Monday

Spring into the new season alongside Eric Carle and one very hungry caterpillar! Join EdVenture as our youngest campers see spring through the eyes of a beloved author and illustrator of many acclaimed children’s books. On this day, campers will not only learn the science behind Eric Carle’s Very Hungry Caterpillar, but follow in his footsteps by illustrating in their own unique art form.

Tuesday

Our youngest EdVenturers will get messy and learn to play when they discover a world of colors through our super fun Splat Paint activities!

Wednesday

Ignite your culinary curiosities with a day of Edible EdVentures! Campers will enjoy a week of learning the kitchen. Campers will use food to discover Tasty recipes, geography and science. We’ll introduce your camper to the wonderful and creative world of cooking, cutting, chopping dicing, mixing and more. Your camper will dive into the world of herbs and cultivate the flavor pallet to rival that of chefs from around the world.

Thursday 

Learn about how our blood works! Then make a model of blood using corn syrup and candy parts! Take a look at what a virus looks like and how to prevent the spread of infection during the cold/flu seasons! Make a model of the blood stream with viruses and white blood cells! Learn about the basic shapes of bacteria, how they make people sick, and make a model of a bacteria!

Friday

Our youngest campers will dive into the world of storytelling and explore and recreate the most exciting tales! We will collaborate and create as we discover new worlds and design our own masks, music, and more. Explore your imagination with us!

 

Ages 6-8

Monday 

Bring your child to EdVenture for a day and let them learn the basics of coding. Using special programming designed for kids, we’ll explore the basics of coding on and off screen. By the end of the day, your child will create a video game that they can even play at home!

Tuesday

Campers will learn about exciting customs and traditions as we explore the world of the Asante! Through storytelling, discovery, and creativity we will capture the amazing culture and experience traditional art, weaving, and vibrant costume design together!

Wednesday 

These students will get creative while making their own rockets and mixing chemicals! They’ll even have the chance to make their very own super bubble solution!

Thursday

Earn your cooking stripes in this introductory cooking day camp! Campers will become familiar will the kitchen. Your camper will be introduced to flavor development, cutting techniques, and so much more. Campers will explore incredible recipes and exercise their culinary muscle by creating their very own dishes. Your camper will be guided through the culinary arts and develop their very own cookbook!

Friday

Discover what traits are and how we inherit them! Make DNA bracelets that represent the uniqueness of you based on your physical traits! Learn where DNA is found and how it affects you! Get hands on and use the BioLab science equipment to take a strawberry and extract its DNA so you can actually see and touch it! Join us in the BioLab to learn about how animals and plants help us make medicine! Make aspirin in the lab with Willow Tree Bark!

 

Ages 9-12

Monday

Join us for another STEAM filled EdVenture as your 11-12 year old campers will engage in hands on activities that explore coding and computer programming, textile manufacturing, as well as arts and engineering. EdVenturers will code and program games, paint with light and create their own stuffed animals in a fun-filled, week long camp. The EdVenture continues….

Tuesday

Are you ready to expand your culinary horizons? Tag along with EDDIE® and friends for an around the world culinary adventure! We'll explore exciting global cuisine, discover the food cultures of exotic locations, and make our very own global dishes. From Italian to Japanese, Latin to Indian; the Global Chef Camp will expose your camper to a whole new world of flavors. Your camper will definitely gain a few stamps in their culinary passport!

Wednesday

Get a little personal with science—learn to extract your own DNA (from your saliva)! Then keep it bottled up in a necklace pendant to keep! Learn the basics of what an epidemiologist does and use simulated germs to figure out through a game how germs are spread! Come explore how cancer is caused and perform a BioLab test to find out which foods may contain anticancer properties!

Thursday

Our oldest campers will experience a mélange of making and creativity as we explore the exciting world of scientific discovery! We will be immersed in the worlds of light, flight and sailing as we discover where our creativity can take us. Come make with us!

Friday

Campers will learn about circuitry and electronics when they use a special conductive play dough to make LEDs light up! They’ll get their creative juices flowing when they get the chance to make their own LED artwork!
