Where is the museum?
EdVenture makes its home at 211 Gervais Street, and shares its campus with the South Carolina State Museum, within the booming arts-centered area of downtown Columbia known as The Congaree Vista.

Visit the Clubhouse Café — McDonald’s is available for purchase in the Clubhouse Café, which is open from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Monday – Saturday) and closed on Sundays.
Plenty of seating is available in the Clubhouse Café, but please observe reserved tables for school groups.
No outside food or drink is permitted inside the museum.
We offer snacks and drinks in EdCetera®, the EdVenture store, which is open during regular museum hours.
Special Needs Children
EdVenture accommodates all visitors regardless of ability. We provide barrier-free exhibits and wheelchair accessible elevators and bathrooms. Groups with special needs students are also welcomed.
