General Information for Programs

  • Each program is designed to be on grade-level for your students and fits the appropriate South Carolina Curriculum Standards for your level. These programs are not intended as a replacement for teaching the standards in a traditional classroom, but as a means to enhance and reinforce what you have already taught in the classroom.
  • EdVenture Experience Team members lead the programs, but teachers and chaperones are expected to listen and to participate, aiding in reinforcing the experience as we try to encourage students to interact with the exhibits.
  • Along with the school program, students will go on an exploration of the remaining exhibit galleries with their group and with an Experience Team member.
