In celebration of Dr. Seuss' 113th birthday, Read Across America Day, and National Reading Month, EdVenture will kick off March in Seussical way. There will be hourly book readings of Dr. Seuss classics, along with an activity associated with each book, costume character appearances and building crazy contraptions. Come have a who-tastic day!

Schedule of activities:

9am - Cat in the Hat book reading (Library) Activity: Cat in the Hat bag toss

10am - Horton Hears a Who book reading (Library) Activity: Make Horton’s clover

11am - One Fish, Two Fish book reading (Library) Activity: Number and color matching

Noon - Hop on Pop book reading (Library) Activity: Making Hop on Pop Trail Mix (Library)

1pm - Barthalomew and the Oobleck book reading (Library) Activity: Making Oobleck slime (Bio Lab)

2pm - Green Eggs and Ham book reading (Library)Activity: Learning about healthy eating with a Healthy Plate

3pm - The Lorax book reading (Library) Activity: Planting seeds (Bio Lab)

4pm - Oh the Places You’ll Go book reading (Library) Activity: Making mini parachutes/hot air balloons

All day - Building Crazy Cardboard Contraptions (Maker Works)
