Military Appreciation Days

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

On April 1 & 2, EdVenture will be decorated in flags as it recognizes the contributions and sacrifice that military children make alongside their military parents. The museum will offer free admission on this day to guests showing military identification. 

Activities include:

  • Explore positively patriotic chemical reactions in our Bio Lab 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m.  
  • Military Appreciation Storytime featuring the book Veterans: Heroes in Our Neighborhood by Valerie Pfundstein- Noon, 2 p.m.
  • Lend your hand print to our own US flag art piece!
  • Write a letter to a soldier and thank them for their service. Main Lobby
  • Make a yellow military support ribbon and show your appreciation for those who have served and serving our country. Aha Factory
  • Enjoy a free bag lunch from the Carousel Café for military dependents 12 and under.
