Gingerbread Jamboree at EdVenture
Saturday, November 25, 2017 - Sunday, December 24, 2017
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Every Saturday and Sunday from November 24, 2017 - December 24, 2017
Children are invited to bring their families to the Gingerbread Jamboree each weekend between Thanksgiving and New Years Eve.
Santa is coming to EdVenture!
Visit with Mrs. Claus while you wait your turn to sit with Santa and to tell him all of your Christmas wishes. His schedule is listed below. Don't forget your camera! You'll want to snap a photo while he’s making his list and checking it twice! Santa’s helpers will be on hand to help you make ornaments or do some holiday crafting that will get your holiday spirit singing!
Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and sensory processing differences are invited for a sensory-friendly time with Santa and in the museum from 5–7 p.m. on December 9. This program will allow families with children who have developmental disabilities to have their picture taken with Santa in a calm, less intimidating environment. This area will be sensory friendly, with lower lighting and quieter surroundings. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the museum in a safe and accepting environment and enjoy interactive, hands-on activities.
Celebrate winter holidays around the world at EdVenture's annual Festivals of Sharing, December 9. Children will learn the values of the Season of Giving by celebrating their own and others’ holiday traditions.
The season will wind up with EdVenture's infamous year end count down, New Year's Eve at Noon. The ball will drop at EdVenture to ring in 2018. Join us for a juice box toast at noon! The Gingerbread Jamboree is FREE with membership or regular admission.
