Free Public Programs:

Toddler Tuesday

Every Tuesday from 10-11am

Children 0-5 years

You and your toddler are invited to drop in for a special program for our smallest visitors! Join us for arts & crafts, painting on easels, playing in the sandbox and much more! Free with paid museum admission or membership.

 

Shake, Rattle & Read - NEW!

Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10 a.m.

Children 12 months-5 years

Move and groove with your child as they learn important early literacy skills. Join us for half an hour of storytelling, music and movement activities, finger plays and more! Free with paid admission or membership.

 

Community Leader Reader

2nd Monday of every month at 10-10:30am

(June-August only)

Children 12 months-5 years
Join us for storytime with a local community leader followed by arts & crafts, music and fun! Free with paid museum admission or membership.

Toddler Take Over! Featuring Tales for Tots

First Monday of the Month 9am-1pm

Children 0-5 years

Toddler Take Over is designed to allow young children to play freely throughout the museum with kids of their own size! Enjoy a puppet show beginning at 10am in addition to painting, sand play and arts & crafts. At 11am, experience Tales for Tots, a fun and educational program featuring a read-to-me time followed by a character appearance that is sure to make stories come alive! Pre-registration is not required. Members-$3, Non-Members-$8.50.

 

Giggle Science/Messy Play

Thursdays or Saturdays 11am-12pm

Children 2-5 years

Giggle Science/Messy Play preschool classes will offer children ages 2-5 years and their caregivers an opportunity to enjoy many hands-on learning activities. Children can let loose while doing simple science experiments, art projects and much more. Giggle Science and Messy Play are offered on Thursdays or Saturdays during select months*.

Pre-Registration is required.

Members-$38, Non-Members-$48.

  • April Messy Play ~ Thursday's: 4, 11, 18, 25. Saturday's: 6, 13, 20, 27.
  • May Giggle Science ~ Thursday's: 2, 9, 16, 23. Saturday's: 4, 11, 18, 25.
  • August Messy Play ~ Thursday's: 8, 15, 22, 29. Saturday's: 10, 17, 24, 31.
