What’s Inside Me?
Exhibits in this gallery focus on several key body systems such as respiratory, digestive, skeletal and circulatory. Step into The Bone Zone and meet a talking skeleton. In Heart Attack you can listen to your own heartbeat and then compare it to the heartbeats of other animals, like a canary or an elephant. In the What’s Up Doc clinic, children can take their pulse and blood oxygen levels. From learning about proper dental hygiene to watching a virtual meal get digested, children will be entertained and educated about the wonders of the human body — learning what makes it work and how to take care of it.
Role Play
Role-play is a key element in this and every EdVenture gallery. Here, kids can pretend to be doctors, dentists or nutritionists. Adults and children alike will learn at least one new thing about their body when they spend time in this interactive exhibit area.
