Volunteer Opportunities

With so much happening, we need a vast roster of friendly, outgoing volunteers with a variety of skills. You provide the enthusiasm; we’ll provide the training!

Museum Apprentice Program (MAP)

Young men and women in 6th through 12th grade can apply to join EdVenture's Museum Apprentice Program. Youth volunteers not only develop 21st century skills, but communication, public speaking, collaboration, and life skills while working in a professional environment. MAPs participate in structured leadership development training and are paired with museum staff throughout the year to work in exhibit interpretation, facilitate public programs and events, help with museum administrative activities, and more. With completion of volunteer hours, youth can gain access to different opportunities and programs. EdVenture's signature youth development program teaches valuable work and life skills through volunteer service.

The next MAP application cycle will begin in Fall 2017. We are not currently accepting MAP applications. Please check back soon!
